1. Scope of this document

This page governs (a) your use of the Doc Generator marketing site and the enquiry process, and (b) the standard terms under which a Doc Generator build is delivered once you commission one. It is written for a technical or business buyer evaluating the product, not as a substitute for the signed statement of work you receive before any work begins — the signed SOW takes precedence where the two differ.

2. What is delivered

A Doc Generator build is custom software: a drafting engine wired to the document templates, variable set, and jurisdictions you specify at scoping, with optional scan-recognition (OCR) input. Deliverables, the fixed price, and the delivery date are confirmed in writing before work begins. Nothing is delivered on spec or on a "figure it out as we go" basis.

2.1 Ownership

You own the templates you provide and the documents your instance generates, in full, from the moment of delivery. You own the deployed instance of the software built for you. Aeterna AI Architects retains ownership of the underlying reusable engine, libraries, and any general-purpose tooling used to build it — the same way a construction firm retains its own tools and methods while you own the building.

2.2 Acceptable use

  1. You will not use a delivered instance to generate documents that impersonate a real person or entity without authorization, or to produce fraudulent legal instruments.
  2. You will not attempt to resell the underlying engine as your own competing product without a separate licensing agreement.
  3. You are responsible for keeping any API keys or credentials issued to your instance confidential — see Security for the failure mode if they leak.

2.3 Warranty and liability

We warrant that the delivered software matches the agreed scope and functions as specified at the time of handoff. Drafted output is a mechanical fill of the templates and variables you supplied — it is not legal advice, and Aeterna AI Architects is not a law firm. You are responsible for having generated documents reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on them in any binding matter. Our liability for any claim arising from a delivered build is capped at the amount paid for that build; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or reputational damages.

2.4 Post-delivery changes

Template or jurisdiction changes on your end may require an adjustment to the engine's variable mapping. This is chargeable per the rate agreed at scoping unless covered by an active support agreement, and is scoped and quoted the same way the original build was — no surprise invoices.

3. Privacy Policy

3.1 What we collect on this site

This marketing site does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or fingerprinting. The only data we receive is what you submit through a contact channel to scope a build — typically your name, contact details, and a description of what you need. That data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3.2 What the delivered software does with data

A deployed Doc Generator instance sends drafted documents only to the destination(s) you configure — your storage, your CRM, your infrastructure. We do not retain a standing copy of the documents, template contents, or personal data your instance processes after delivery, and we do not have standing access to your deployed instance unless you grant it for a specific, time-boxed support task.

3.3 Your rights

If you have contacted us and want your enquiry data deleted, corrected, or exported, email us through the channel you used to place your order and we will act on the request within a reasonable timeframe, consistent with GDPR-style access/rectification/erasure principles, regardless of your jurisdiction.

3.4 Sub-processors and international transfer

A delivered instance necessarily routes drafting through the LLM provider you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini, under your own account), and, if scan recognition is enabled, an OCR provider under the same terms. These are your sub-processors, not ours — we do not sit between you and them as a data intermediary. Where any of these providers process data outside your jurisdiction, their own Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanism applies.

3.5 Data Processing Agreement

A Data Processing Agreement covering the enquiry-stage data described in 3.1 is available on request for enterprise engagements.

4. Doc Generator in the Aeterna ecosystem

Doc Generator is built to run standalone, but its output plugs cleanly into the other Aeterna AI Architects modules if you use more than one — for example, a document drafted here can be handed off to Match Engine's matched counterpart or logged through the same webhook pattern used by Scraper Engine and Content Factory. Nothing about a standalone Doc Generator build requires adopting another module; the interoperability is available, not mandatory.

5. Contact

For any legal, contractual, or privacy question about a specific build, reach out through the channel you used to place your order. We respond to legal and privacy requests directly — not through a ticket queue.
